Recommended steps for lens restore: wash surface with sem soap using a gray pad. rinse with water & dry. clean with plastic/leather prep. wet sand (dry optional) starting with 60 or 30 micron sanding disc to remove factory coating and then wet sand (dry optional) with 15 or 9 micron sanding disc to remove any sand scratches. re-clean with plastic/leather prep (use de-wipes also) and allow to dry. mask off area to protect from overspray. shake solaray can well and spray 2 coats allowing a 2 minute flash time between coats. allow 2nd coat to flash 5 minutes before exposing to UV light. cure at a distance of 1-2" for 2 minutes.
